UNITED will be away to Riverside Stadium for the weekend.. and it will be a lunchtime kick-off.. so early footy match for us this week.. The Riverside proves to be one of our tough venue in recent seasons.. Boro appears to be stubborn when they had an encounter with us.. and it's never easy.. they managed to get a point even when they're down.. huhu..

Boro right now is fighting for Premier League survival.. they're currently 19th in the league.. This game will be important to them & it will definitely be important for us too.. Boro's away form has been poor.. and their home form is not that healthy too.. huhu.. 5 wins, 4 lost & 8 draws.. Their topscorer is the Turkish, Tuncay Sanli with 6 goals so far..The only injury concern is Pogatetz who is currently out with knee injury..

UNITED who got a win against Arsenal early this morning & Spurs thrashing on the weekend will surely boost the confidence of the team ahead of this trip.. However, i think they will also be cautious as it has not always been a happy trip to the Riverside.. Rio was injured this morning and was taken out due to rib injury.. we're still waiting for the scans.. hope everything will be just fine.. Brown is still nowhere to be seen and has not been involved since he made the Reserves comeback.. i wish i could see him soon..

Early this season, we've met Boro in the Carling Cup where we end up winning 3-1.. With Ron, Giggsy & Nani scoring that day.. We then met them again in the Premier League where we only managed to win 1-0.. Berbatov was on the score sheet that day..

We will know what to expect when we travel to the Riverside Stadium this weekend.. I hope nothing is taken foregranted.. as every win is important now.. I'm hoping that Roo will play as a striker this weekend..
